Interpom: from storage to processing

Together with ENGIE Axima from Belgium, ENGIE Refrigeration was present this year at Interpom, the most specialised indoor trade event for the potato and vegetable industry in Europe. Nearly 20.000 visitors from all over the globe got inspired by new developments in the entire chain: from growing to processing and marketing.

The new ENGIE technology makes it possible to no longer be dependent on unpredictable weather conditions. Also beyond the Dutch borders, where we see an increasing interest in mechanical refrigeration, drying, and storage.

This innovative storage system of ENGIE Refrigeration gives back control over the product. Fully mechanical and independently of the outside air. The benefits? Less than 3% dehydration during potato storage and drying onions twice as fast!

In addition, ENGIE also presented smart cooling and freezing technology at Interpom for the food processing industry. Complete solutions that run on natural refrigerations for a reliable production process, maximum temperature control, and residual heat recovery.
